Welcome to the meetup space for the newly created Houston Secret Science Club - our goal is to create a cool, fun, sexy and illuminating monthly meetup focusing on Science in and around Houston as well as current events in Science and cool trends in Technology, Design and Engineering
Inspired by New York's world famous Secret Science Club and the Science Cafe movement we hope to hold regular meetings in Space City, home of NASA, Rice University, the Energy Industry and numerous tech and medical science companies. We will focus on cool and interesting scientific topics, along with arts, music, libation and poetry!! Bring your ideas and topics.
We hope to have monthly meetings focusing on a single Science Related theme, with a brief lecture, slide/film, and arts interlude (poetry, music and entertainment!!) followed by Q & A
